O cuando está en un supermercado, detenido en una fila que no se mueve, ¿cómo reacciona? Nuestra paciencia, o la falta de ella, se revelan en muchos aspectos de nuestra vida. La paciencia no es un atributo natural con la que algunos nacen. Ni tampoco es una habilidad que podemos desarrollar, por nosotros mismos. Solo se adquiere con la ayuda del Espíritu Santo. La naturaleza de la paciencia nos permite decir: Estoy dispuesto a dejar de lado la gratificación inmediata para esperar que Dios se encargue de mi necesidad . Entonces, somos capaces de experimentar una tranquilidad interior que solamente
