Psalm 37:8-10

8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
   do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
   but those who hope in the LORD will inherit the land.

 10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
   though you look for them, they will not be found.

Sometimes when I get home for the day I am full of anger and pain. It gets worse when I think about all the stuff that is on my mind. All the problems that I have to face every day from every direction. It all seems like too much to handle. The weight is too large for me to carry. In these times I must pray again and come to the lord. I love the Psalms, because David had to fight these very same fights, and the lord was with him too.

We must be careful not to let anger overtake us and destroy our capacity to do good. Anger is like a disease that the devil delights in. He uses it to cloud our vision and corrupt everything we do. Please lord let us not forget your true love for us and help us to shed the anger of the devil everyday. In your holy name help us, Amen!

El quebrantamiento de Pedro

If you are unable to see the message below, click here to view .

In His Eyes

July 23, 2012 Mary Southerland Today's Truth I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be ( Psalm 139:14-15 , NIV). Friend to Friend It was my first day of teaching second grade. While standing at the classroom door, greeting parents and children, I felt a tug on my skirt. I looked down into the beautiful blue eyes of Sammy, one of my new students.  His mother, who was standing beside Sammy, looked at me and said, "I guess you've heard about Sammy.  Good luck!" As she walked away, Sammy said, "She's right. I'm dumb and mean and can't read or write."  Lisa was a tall, blonde and beautiful young woman with zero self-confidence. Lisa was...
