Dear Impact Prayer Team

We all want to make wise choices. However, many Christians mistakenly use personal preferences when making a decision or allow fear to paralyze them from moving forward in faith. However, Scripture provides the principles that should guide us.

You first have to decide whether you’re going to live for yourself or for the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Are you willing to let your life bear witness to who He is? Your answer determines how you make decisions.

Once you obey God’s leading, leave all the consequences to Him. Remember, you’re a threat to the Enemy when you live beyond yourself, so expect conflict. Don’t let it undermine choices you know the Lord led you to make. Instead, choose to face adversity as Jesus did—by drawing on the courage of the Holy Spirit. Trust Him and willingly embrace everything He allows into your life, whether that involves suffering or blessings.

Believe in the greatness of His love today, and rest in the wisdom of His guidance.

The Danger in Being a Christian: It began as a Jewish sect; fierce persecution only helped it spread Today's reading: Acts 8 Acts 8:1 On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. In some countries, a person who becomes a Christian forfeits a good education and job. And in a few countries, a person who converts risks his or her life. An ancient saying expresses this phenomenon: "The blood of martyrs is the seed of the church." The First Big Advance For a while, the new faith enjoyed popular favor. But very soon it involved grave risk. In the book of Acts, the persecution that produced the first Christian martyr, St...

Recompensas celestiales
