Jeremiah Nasiatka

CUFI's National Campus Coordinator

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, and in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Anyone who was at CUFI’s Student Advocacy Leadership Training (SALT) Summit in San Antonio last week witnessed over 100 passionate young people representing 74 universities gathering together to learn how to lead by example. With teaching from CUFI Executive Board Member Gary Bauer, CUFI Florida State Director Pastor Scott Thomas, and CUFI’s National Leadership, these young leaders learned how to better defend and advocate for Israel and worked together to make campus-specific action plans for the upcoming year.
In many cases, these campus leaders not only raise the pro-Israel banner on their universities, but their passion and educated activism engages the communities surrounding their campus as well. CUFI on Campus chapters across the country have been responsible for igniting pro-Israel activism both on and off the campus, as local pastors and community leaders see the example set by these young activists.
As the semester begins, please keep the thousands of CUFI on Campus students in your prayers as they stand for Israel in one of the most daunting environments imaginable, and, despite their youth, set an example of courageous Christian leadership we all would be wise to follow.

key ring half

In accordance with the words of Deuteronomy 6:9, the Jewish people post the word of God on the doorposts of their houses in a small container called a mezuzah. Every time they enter their homes, they see the mezuzah and are reminded of God’s commandments and God’s presence in their lives.
This mandate inspired us to create the CUFI Key Ring. Every time we enter our offices in the morning, our CUFI Key Ring reminds us to speak out for Zion’s sake. Every time we return home at night, our CUFI Key Ring reminds us that He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.
For your gift of $20 or more, you will receive a CUFI Key Ring. This is a token of our appreciation of your support. It is a reminder of the commitments we’ve all made to support Israel. This symbol reminds us to pray for Israel and the Jewish people.

In our decades of commitment to Israel, we don't remember a more perilous time for her than right now.  As the challenges to Israel mount, let us rise together to meet and overcome them.  We pray the Lord’s blessing over you as you prayerfully consider your support.

The Danger in Being a Christian: It began as a Jewish sect; fierce persecution only helped it spread

Acts 8 Acts 8:1 On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. In some countries, a person who becomes a Christian forfeits a good education and job. And in a few countries, a person who converts risks his or her life. One church historian estimates that more Christians were martyred in the twentieth century than in all preceding centuries put together. Yet, strangely, more often than not, intense persecution of Christians leads to a spurt of growth in the church. An ancient saying expresses this phenomenon: “The blood of martyrs is the seed of the church.” The First Big Advance For a while, the new faith enjoyed popular favor. But very soon it involved grave risk. In the book of Acts, the persecution that produced the first Christian martyr, Stephen, ironically brought about the advance of Christianity outside its Jewish base. Forced out of stormy Jerusalem, the scatterin...
