Puede Dios usarle a usted?

Si el Señor pudo usar a un burro para hablarle a Balaam (búsquelo en Números 22), ¿Puede Dios usarle a usted?

Mucho antes de que usted naciera, Dios diseñó y preparó específicamente buenas obras para que usted las realizara. Esto concuerda con los planes de Él para su vida, y ahora su responsabilidad es descubrirlas y llevarlas a cabo. Ningún cristiano debe sentarse a disfrutar de los beneficios del regalo de la salvación del Señor, y jamás mover un dedo para servirle. Usted ha sido comprado con la sangre de Cristo, y ahora le pertenece a Él (1 P 1.17-19).

A pesar de ello, muchos cristianos piensan que servir al Señor es opcional. Pero la Biblia dice: “Porque somos hechura suya, creados en Cristo Jesús para buenas obras, las cuales Dios preparó de antemano para que anduviésemos en ellas” (Ef 2.10). Nuestras características físicas, personalidades, habilidades y temperamentos fueron creados con este propósito en mente. Estamos hechos perfectamente para las tareas que el Señor ha querido para nosotros.

Miró a Adán, quien era el único ser en su clase, y dijo: “No es bueno que el hombre esté solo” (Gn 2.18). El Señor creó a las personas para que tuvieran compañerismo emocional, mental y físico, de modo que pudieran compartir su ser más íntimo unas con otras. En una amistad que honra a Dios, dos personas se edifican mutuamente y se animan una a otra a tener un carácter como el de Cristo.
