Resumen viernes 12 de abril: Con boleto a la postemporada los Pescadores del Plata

Los Pescadores del Plata de Comerío (11-2) consiguieron el primer boleto clasificatorio de la sección Central y extendieron a 7-0 su invicto en la carretera al vencer 8-4 a los Centinelas de Orocovis (1-11) ayer viernes en la continuación de la temporada regular del Béisbol Superior Doble A.

Wilfredo Rosario, de los Pescadores, sacudió dos cuadrangulares en el triunfo de los comerieños y remolcó cuatro de las ocho carreras del equipo.

El lanzador Jorge Olmo se apuntó la victoria con ocho entradas lanzadas sin carreras permitidas. 

Aguada y Comerío son los primeros dos equipos con boleto asegurado a las series semifinales seccionales.  Quedan 30 espacios disponibles. 

En la misma sección, los campeones nacionales Bravos de Cidra (6-5) marcaron seis carreras en el noveno episodio para dominar 9-8 a los Polluelos de Aibonito (8-5) y los Toritos de Cayey (9-3) superaron 6-2 a los Próceres de Barranquitas (1-10) en gran labor del derecho Raúl Torres.

Reflection on Genesis 44:33 Sometimes we get a second chance. When we do, it’s important to seize the opportunity. That’s what Judah did. When his brothers wanted to kill Joseph, Judah didn’t rescue Joseph but instead suggested that they sell him as a slave (see Genesis 37:26–27 ). His second chance came when Benjamin’s life appeared to be in danger. This time Judah put his own life on the line to protect his half brother, Rachel’s other son. Perhaps this commitment was taken into account in the blessings that God inspired Jacob to give his sons; eventually the Messiah came through Judah’s descendants (see Genesis 49:10 ). God often gives us second chances in life. When he does, we need to take advantage of the opportunity and set things right.
