Sin vergüenza de compartir el evangelio

El apóstol Pablo comprendía la enorme responsabilidad que tenía al haberle sido confiado el anunciar el evangelio. Puesto que consideraba a este llamado una mayordomía de la que un día rendiría cuentas al Señor, estuvo dispuesto a sufrir por causa de Cristo para terminar la tarea. Como creyentes, tenemos esta misma obligación de llevar el evangelio a cualquier persona que Dios ponga en nuestras vidas.
El apóstol Pablo se sentía obligado a hablar a las personas sobre Cristo. De hecho, él dijo: “Ay de mí si no lo hago” (cp. 1 Co 9.16). No importa cómo lo tratara alguien, no se avergonzaba del mensaje de Cristo. El profeta Jeremías tuvo una experiencia semejante (Jer 20.7-9). Aunque se convirtió en el hazmerreír de todos y fue perseguido por comunicar el mensaje del Señor acerca del juicio venidero, descubrió que el no hablar le creaba una sensación interior peor, como un fuego en sus huesos (v. 9).
Es posible que no queramos amonestar a las personas sobre el juicio de Dios, por temor a alejarlas de Él. Pero, en realidad, los perdidos ya están alejados del Señor y necesitan escuchar su oferta de perdón. Pablo estuvo dispuesto a morir por proclamar el mensaje, pero nosotros muchas veces no estamos dispuestos siquiera a enfrentar un poco de vergüenza a fin de compartir nuestra fe.
Estamos rodeados de personas hambrientas, y no saben de qué. Pero nosotros tenemos la respuesta a su necesidad y la responsabilidad de compartirla. Nunca se avergüence de dar la mejor noticia que se haya ofrecido a la humanidad. Ella tiene el poder de cambiar el destino eterno de una persona.
Ya sea por este medio o el que usted elija para compartir esta palabra, hagalo con amor. Y le aseguro que no podra parar de hacer esto, el compartir la palabra de Dios a las naciones.
