Faith & Action

Friends, we are in the midst of a watershed moment in history that will shape not only the next few years but the foreseeable future of our nation, our families, and the families of generations to come. To strengthen the foundation of our country, we ask that you commit with us to faith and action. Together we can change the future - starting in the home - one family at a time. We invite you to join Team Family Talk and be a part of the movement of a lifetime!
PRAY
"Lord, we honor your sovereignty and pray for your hand in the upcoming presidential election. We boldly seek leadership who will restore America's Christian heritage, protect marriage and family as clearly defined in your Word. Help all Americans, with wisdom and discernment, to understand the powerful choices before them now, and to hear your voice as they embrace the rights and responsibilities as you have granted them in our nation's constitution."
VOTE
Inaction is action without a voice. It is critically important that every citizen register and vote in the presidential election on November 6, 2012. We urge you to make your values known and to step up to assist and encourage others to vote.
STAND FOR THE FAMILY
Dr. James Dobson and Family Talk are at the starting gate of perhaps our most significant mission to date. Everything we've prepared and accomplished has led up to this.
At certain points in history, acute need, opportunity and capacity intersect providing the platform for life-changing impact on a national scale. This is where we stand today – with the most worthy cause and the challenge to step forward and champion the cause of the family.

We invite you to join Dr. Dobson and Family Talk for an epic adventure over the next few years.

By reaching, teaching and equipping families across our nation with the Dr. Dobson's proven, practical and timeless family tools and resources we seek to positively impact 10 Million Families in America. The generational impact of this initiative will have exponentially greater effect.
In less than three years time, before the next presidential election, TOGETHER we will be taking a stand for the family to change the course of our nation. Circumstance has put this opportunity before us. God has put the challenge in our hearts to BE THE CHANGE WE SEEK and to LEAD families in solidifying their own family - and then to mount an effective outreach to help others.
  • Never before have we been so connected as people.
  • Never before has the family so desperately needed restoration.
  • Never before has it been so important that we work and stand together for our family values!
1000 Days – 10 Million Families – A Stronger Nation

Stay tuned! Next month we'll share details of Dr. Dobson's plan for reaching more families, for providing the resources they can use right away to improve family life, and for how we can each take the baton and share these tools and advice with others.
God Bless Your Family and God Bless America!

The Danger in Being a Christian: It began as a Jewish sect; fierce persecution only helped it spread

Acts 8 Acts 8:1 On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. In some countries, a person who becomes a Christian forfeits a good education and job. And in a few countries, a person who converts risks his or her life. One church historian estimates that more Christians were martyred in the twentieth century than in all preceding centuries put together. Yet, strangely, more often than not, intense persecution of Christians leads to a spurt of growth in the church. An ancient saying expresses this phenomenon: “The blood of martyrs is the seed of the church.” The First Big Advance For a while, the new faith enjoyed popular favor. But very soon it involved grave risk. In the book of Acts, the persecution that produced the first Christian martyr, Stephen, ironically brought about the advance of Christianity outside its Jewish base. Forced out of stormy Jerusalem, the scatterin...
