Ayer vimos las diversas maneras que tienen las personas de escuchar la Palabra de Dios. Si usted evaluó su manera de escuchar lo que dice el Señor, y determinó que puede mejorar más, anímese; porque esa conciencia es el primer paso para volverse más sensible al Espíritu Santo.   • Escuchar con la debida atención. De manera intencional, resuelva escuchar con determinación cuando lea la Palabra de Dios o la escuche predicada. Decida “orar sin cesar” a medida que transcurra el día.
  • Rechazar todo afán. Una de las estrategias de Satanás es llenar nuestras mentes de preocupaciones secundarias que dañen nuestra confianza en Cristo. Mucho de lo que consideramos importante cae en picada en nuestra escala de prioridades cuando lo comparamos con la luz de la verdad.
  • Evaluar su vida de acuerdo con lo que dice la Biblia. Esto significa tomar la iniciativa de vivir de acuerdo con el patrón de la verdad de Dios y de estar de acuerdo en hacer los cambios que sean necesarios.
  • Aplicar las verdades que el Espíritu Santo ponga en su corazón. Esta es una decisión que usted toma, que indica qué tan serio y comprometido está en su andar con Jesucristo. Dios honrará su paso de fe, y usted podrá confiar plenamente en Él.
Escuchar lo que dice la Palabra de Dios es importante, pero la transformación de su vida no se producirá si no aplica personalmente sus enseñanzas. Esfuércese por obedecer la Biblia y la dirección del Señor siempre. Si lo hace, Él asumirá la responsabilidad de los resultados.
